Wired Frame Project

Here's a little something I recently put together for my daughter's bedroom.

First, you need a frame. We brought this one home with us from Ontario a few weeks. It was in the attic at Grandma and Poppa's place. Their attic is full of treaures!

Then, you need some high gloss spray paint. I chose white, but there are many other colours to choose from.

Give the frame a few coats of paint. Be sure to let the paint dry in between each coat, and make sure it's completely dry before moving on with the next few steps. This is the frame after one coat.

Drill small holes into the frame and screw picture hanging rings into the holes. Stretch picture hanging wire across the frame from one ring to the next. Wind the wire around the rings to secure. Trim excess wire.

Hang photos, pretty paper or clippings, etc. from the wire. Use mini clothes pins. I found these pretty ones at Dollarama. (Click on images to enlarge.)

A pretty addition to Avery's room.

Have you been up to any little projects lately? It seems I've been getting several done recently. It's nice when that happens and super-productivity is the norm for a time.
