acapulco chair

I recently found this beautiful picture at micasa magazine

and I LOVED the Acapulco chair.

First time I’ve seen it in this type of base. Very pretty!!

The Acapulco chair was first designed in Mexico around 1950,
and it was inspired by the Mayan weaving technique, which I also love.

Besides a beautiful design,
this chair is 100% hand crafted
and its metal frame is made with recycled iron
… pretty cool!

and... it can be used both inside and out.

I want one!
