Which Would You Choose? (Two Nursery Design Boards)

Hello, friends! Happy Friday to you. I'm extra excited that it's the weekend because I get to see my darling whom I've been without for the entire week. And when he's away I do crazy things like eat 1/2 a pound of mushrooms all by myself (in the form of a delightful mushroom bisque of course), but I've nearly made myself sick of mushrooms and that's a sad thing.

Anyway, I had fun putting together two very different design boards for you. They are both nurseries which means nothing (in other words, we are not in need of a nursery makeover at this time). Kid's spaces are just fun to do! I tried to keep both looks as gender neutral as possible. One look is bold and daring, the other not so much.

So tell me, which would you choose? I keep going back and forth between the two.

Modern Alpine

This week's hotel is located at Val Thorens,
a ski resort in the Alps at an altitude of 7500 ft.

Besides its amazing location, I am in love with the hotel design - especially the lobby!

The modern take on the typical lodge-style wood walls is brilliant.
Also love the abundant use of neutrals and the pattern on the ottomans and pillows.

Take a look below and you will see what I am taking about...

modern, fun and cozy!

totally in love with the ottomans!

interesting

Beautiful composition,
although I wonder how comfortable the chairs are.

not crazy about he snow flake detail on the wall
but LOVE the neutral color pallet and the soft texture around the room.

I'll take the furry bedroom, and you?

the highest "ski-palace" in the Alps
(you can pretty much step out of bed with your skis already on, lol)

I wish I could go skiing this weekend... oh well, maybe in my dreams.

That is it for today. Click HERE for more information about the Altapura Hotel.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

See you Monday!
