Hello, friends. I hope this finds you well. Hard to believe tomorrow will bring us into December! The last month of 2011 and then a new year begins. Over the holidays, you'll likely enjoy some family time, and there's nothing like spending that time in a comfortable, family-friendly space. I've put an imaginary family-space together, AND... it's budget-friendly.
White & Grey form a neutral base. Wood and Brass Accents warm up the space. Blue Tones and Hints of Pink add some colour.
Budget Pieces:
Ektorp Loveseat & Chaise Lounge at IKEA $600

I could definitely see my family cozied up and kicking back in this space. What about you?
I had originally thought this round, marble-topped coffee table might look nice but opted for the wood table instead. (The wood table looked more beat-up-able, and this is a family room after all.) I do think this marble-topped beauty is lovely though, and it's also quite affordable.
Smart Marble Round Coffee Table for $350 at CB2.
