This paper lantern has been in my closet for a few years now. I've been intending to dye and paint it for the longest time. I'm happy to say that I finally got to it last week, and it actually turned out quite well.

I'm not entirely sure where I'll put it, but I'm happy to have it done. It was actually quite quick and easy to do. I was able to do it all in one day. The dye dried very quickly and the hand-painted flowers went on better than I had expected. Perhaps I'll try another. If I don't have a place for it, I'm sure I could find someone who does.
