We have an aspiring artist in our house these days. All Avery wanted to do on Monday was colour. First she made a birthday card for her little friend who is having princess party later this week (how totally exciting is that?). Then she went through multiple sheets of paper and actually filled them all up with her doodles. I noticed that she was trying to draw people, and she was getting pretty good at it. We're definitely going to add these pieces to our collection. You could say they kind of "speak to me".
I asked her if the one face belonged to a snow man (the nose looked rather carrot-ish), but she said, "No, it's Daddy." Awww. Melt my heart.
